Hi Mike,
Actually, you can take ANY clear and make it look a mile deep. It's all in the application, plus the ability to wetsand and buff.
I personally use UC35 though.

I agree with Taz I have had transtar clear turn out better the HOK UC 35 so it is in the way you apply it.. PPG is way over priced in my opinion and I have never used RM so if there is no budget get HOK UC 35 If you are get the Transtar... What gun are you using? Pressure ect...

The B stands for gravity feed and the RP is reduced pressure. They added the B to make it easier to tell the dif between a gravity feed and lets say there K RP witch is a Pressure fed gun. So long story short Order the Sata 3000 b rp if you want the gravity fed model. I have this gun and its worth every penny in my opinion.. I have not used the Iwata gun before so I cant comment on that but if your looking for the best gun on the market in my opinion get the sata period..

Glasurit multi temp baking clear is the best ive used. Ive sprayed ppg 2021, dupont, hok and glasurit. I would very highly not recommend hok, it has very high solvents, so it will shrink and die back easily, and it doesnt harden nearly enough. I dont know that price is very importnant, id much rather spend more on a good product than have to spend countless hours extra trying to make a crap product look ok at best. Ive had pretty good luck with everything but house of kolor, its a terrible product. As it was already stated, the prep and wet sanding/buffing are the most important things.
