What to use?

Guys,
Just finishing up taping out my flames and was wondering if there is any material anyone has used to cover over the rest of the parts. Ive done it the old school way of 1/4" then masking , seems so time consuming. Thought maybe wrapping the pieces then razor the outline and remove, has any done that and with what.

Back when I did my bike,I used 1/8th.in. blue fineline tape. then put a good quality 2 1/2 3m masking over the entire part,then carefully cut thru the masking on the center of the fineline.I've been doin dents, dings and repaints on cars lately but,still use 3M masking,It's worth the extra money.

After you tape out your flames with fine line tape another option would be Automask which comes in transparent or semi transparent and in 1000' rolls in widths from 6" to 24" Probably the 6" is what you are looking for. I think a roll goes for about $7 and will save you a lot of time and money. Al
