whats best for taping flames

i was just wondering what everybody uses to tape there flames? is there some kind of paper i should use after i lay my flames or what should i use? thanx

I just use 1/16" fineline and regular ole' masking tape.

i read somewhere on this site something about shelf paper and masking paper, whats the deal with those??? thanx

Probably matching flames from one side of the car to the other using an electro-ponce and ponce powder would be my guess.AL
