Hello I have seen more frequently on new motorbikes and cars like the BMW's there engine covers and parts are sprayed in a matt or satin finish mottled or hammered finish almost like its been shot blast and then painted? How is this effect done? Is it the paint or is it the surface of the part? I don't mean the effect you get with hammerite as that is more like orange peal. Can't find anything about it? Im not a professional sprayer but am in need of some professional information, if anyone can help I would much appreciate it!
