Air Brush

Well I've tried them all over the years. But it entirely depends what you want to use it for.
For uros go for the Iwatta. If you are going to spray textiles then go for the Paasche which is a workhorse for Tee's etc. I have pretty well all the Iwatts, but the one I reach for is the Eclipse. Don't know it just feels right in my hand. and you can pull detail with it. This is just my opinion. Hope this will help you.

i have a HPc, but i suggest geting the eclipse just as brian stated. you can't go wrong w/ it and you can get a micron later (like i'm planning on some day)

the gravity feed model that has the .35 tip. or is it the .3 tip. it's one or the other. it'll make fine lines and be a great work horse for your motorcycle painting.

just as Hoss said, you will not be disapointed, with the Eclipse. I have microns that have been used 3 times in 2 years. I just grab the Eclipse everytime.Parts pricing won't kill you and are readily available to. Go for it and have fun.

don't get the side feed. the top feed are easier to clean. and a clean airbrush is an efficiant airbrush.

EclipseHP-CS1.jpg

the cs-

This gravity feed Eclipse CS features a .35 mm needle and nozzle combination, as well as a generous 1/3 oz. sized cup. The new funnel design of the cup makes clean-up easier and also means that less paint is wasted. The short distance from cup to nozzle allows for more consistent paint flow, too. Fine artists and students alike will appreciate how well the Eclipse CS sprays heavier acrylics and Medea Textile Colours while maintaining very fine spray characteristics

it's all about cup size. (cup size he he)
w/ the sbs you'd be filling up your cup more often

ok, so I messed up and got a master g44. I haven't tryed it yet but guy at tcpglobal said it was the same as the iwata. I know he just wants to make money but I trust him, he hooks me up all the time. Plus I got it for 20$ anyways so if it doesn't work then ill get the eclipse.

Thanks again

i used it yesterday, just forgot to post. im impressed with it, make my g22 look like a plastic one from harbor freight. i literally can make lines theis thin _, well almost. so, i guess the iwata will have to wait till i get a reason to get it again.lol.
anyone else used this?

that brush looks like a HP-C + w/ crown cap w/ a .2 needle set up imitation. looks like all the master airbrushes on the site have a .2 needle set up. might be a little small for a work horse airbrush, but for 60 bux sounds like a good deal.

ya i got it for 20 bucks!!
guy told me it is an eclipse just with a different name. who knows??
it sprays great, just having trouble reducing auto air. any ideas? im just going to buy the flash reducer.

not sure, i've not used auto air. but if it were a nonwaterbased basecoat i'd tell you to add a slower reducer and over reduce. you can also turn down your air at the tip.

could be a copy of the eclipse w/ a .2 tip instead of a .35.

again make sure not to run flake through it. it could get caught and be hard to clean.
