Sounds like you you want a white pearl with an orange tint pearl. You have a couple choices here.
H-D had a white pearl with orange tint back in 2000-2003 (somewhere within these hears). I believe it was called Hi Light orange pearl. This is a very easy orange pearl to paint.
OR, you can use any white of your choice, and buy some 'orange pearl' tint, and some interclear (base coar), and mix it your self. You would apply this directly over the white base of your choice. I would go with the H-D white pearl though.

:luck:
Glad you enjoy reading the posts!

you are right about that, a buddy used to have a 2000 heritage softail with that paint on it, and has been the only bike that i personally have seen around hear with it. i really liked it for some reason, just nice and clean. anyways that is what im going after, except diff tank decals. but anyways, i thought i would check options first, i havent used any of the harley paint before, but have heard that is pretty expensive/overpriced, and not as good as some of the other brands?? how much truth is with that im unsure???? thanks for the suggestions...

Just order a pint of the white and pearl in PPG Global. They're only about $50 for each pint.
Don't forget the reducer, clear and the hardener for the clear.

can i order that through the harley dealer or through my ppg distributor?? i have been told the dealership near me is real secretive about giving out their paint codes... would my ppg distributor have the code on hand or do i somehow have to come up with it? thanks again...sorry for the lack of knowledge when it comes to the hd paint...

H-D does not like giving out codes on their specialty paint jobs.
The ones that come from the factory have a label on the underside of all parts.

Just order it from a local PPG dealer.
Ask for 2001 H-D Hi lite orange pearl (I believe that is what is was called)

Better yet...

Have you thought about buying a 35 dollar can of blender, like DBC-500, and buying all your pearls seperately? The pearls I speak of are like 10 bucks for an ungodly amount and do all the same things as the ones from PPG or anyone else.

i hadnt thought of doing that really...that makes sense....
i had to get some paint today for a truck im working on so i mentioned the "high light pearl" to them, they looked it up and found it, a tri-coat...they said it would be a little over $100 total for a pint of the white, and a pint of the pearl coat..( TAZ was correct!)..thanks for all the help guys...

Glad it worked out for you. That's probably one of the easiest pearls I've sprayed!
I assume you meant $100 for BOTH of the paints. If you meant each, that's quite a bit of $.
