Great Bike Build Off

OK This is just MY opinion. I'm 52. Seen old school bikes when they were still new. Rode the old. Still ride an old 74' Ironhead but with many modern upgrades. Would rather ride new school bikes any day. First, I thought the paint on Larry's bike was gaudy. Billy's first bike was a fire hazard. His second one also had some issues. Perowitzs bike was designed, fabricated, and painted excellently. Yaffe is probably an asshole just like is appeared to be on TV but hands down, his bike was the nicest looking of all(loved that exhaust system).

I don't know why Larry had to "also" have an electric starter on his "ole school" bike. My ole school bike (the stone axe) ain't got no stinkin' lectric starter. In reality, I enjoyed the shows much better than the changing rooms or whatever they call it on Discovery. You know, those of us who "know" bikes, have been riding for 30 or 40 years react differently to them than tose who don't know bikes. The shows are not educational, they are just entertainment (kinda like Moe, Larry & Curley).
I hope they have more of these shows. TC

After seeing Billy Lane trying to kick over that bike in the final I can understand why Larry went electric. I remember the days of being drenched with sweat from just three or four kicks. Course, you always got on your bike and cooled down after. Back then we had no helmet laws, either, so you could didn't have to put a helmet on your sweaty head.

Yea, you're probably right T-boy62. I've been kickin' my old CH for the last 28 years. If you didn't grow up kickin' one and don't know how to tune one you can really provide some good entertainment for onlookers. I was at a poker run last year with a couple hundred bikes, I think mine was the only kicker in the crowd! Some of those "pretty boys" did break a nail or two on those darn Harley starter buttons! It's all for fun though, wouldn't change a thing. Best of luck to all, TC.
