yes, sorry i did not specify, I was comparing can primers, i wasn't comparing a true high build primer and as for the can clear i wasn't referring to painting an entire car, i think that would be a huge waste and a pain in the ass. I just referenced can clear in-case he just wanted to paint the poly lip he has for the car instead of buying regular clear.
I'm assuming HOK is house of kolor? the only thing i have ever used by HOK is the glow in the dark additive they have for the clear, I buy most of my supplies at one of my local auto-body supply stores. I really like the Transtar clears as far as bang for your buck, Limco 4000 is nice for the money also, and R-M is nice but quite a bit more expensive.
